Prior to joining CCI, Chris worked as a structural engineer during the early days of his career and then went on to work for F.H. Paschen, a large Chicago-based general contractor, where he spent over 16 years working in positions of project engineer, estimator, project manager, operations manager, and vice president.
During his career, he has worked with most every agency within the City of Chicago, the United Stated Army Corps of Engineers, General Services Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, and numerous municipal, federal, and private agencies across the country.
Chris believes successful construction projects do not simply happen, rather they are made to happen. Along with his seasoned staff, he drives projects from estimating through completion with proper planning, communication, hard work and most importantly follow-through. Chris also firmly believes in the importance of partnering with both subcontractors and clients and working as a team to successfully deliver each project on time and within budget.
Chris learned the value of hard work early on in his life and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architectural Engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering. His dedication to engineering and its approach to solving everyday construction issues is the driving force behind his leadership of Cornerstone Contracting, Inc. Equally, Chris believes in promoting a positive work environment for his dedicated staff of managers, engineers, and support staff.
Chris resides in the Chicago West Suburbs with his wife, Amy, and their beautiful daughter. He spends his time away from work with his family and together they enjoy entertaining extended family and friends, traveling, and road trips in their RV.
